For all traditions (Jewish, Christian and Islamic) the Holy Spirit is the sprit of God. The name “Spirit” translates the Jewish term “ruah” whose principal meaning is “blow”, “wind”, “breath” of God. According to Christian tradition and the words of the prophet Isaia (Is. 11,2), the Holy Spirit offers seven gifts: wisdom, intelligence, advice, strength, science, mercy and fear of God.
